We had a wonderful stay at Maytree Cottage in Dereham. the house is full of character with beautiful wooden beams and a cosy fireplace in the living area. the conservatory with a pool table was a great extra feature that our children loved. Liz, the caretaker, was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. She welcomed us with cake, milk, and tea, and checked in on us later to ensure everything was okay. the location was also perfect, only 30 minutes away from the beach. We would definitely recommend Maytree Cottage to others.

We were absolutely blown away by the warm welcome we received from Liz at this mind-blowing cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The cake, milk, and tea waiting for us were a super touch. The house itself was incredibly spacious and had jaw-dropping features like beautiful wooden beams and a cosy fireplace. The pool table in the conservatory was a huge hit with our kids, and the large lounge and conservatory provided plenty of space for relaxation. The location was fantastic, with easy access to shops and walks nearby. Liz went above and beyond with her helpfulness and friendliness throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others. Free parking, pets allowed, no smoking on-site - couldn't ask for more!

Maytree Cottage is my go-to place in Dereham. I keep coming back because the staff helped me with my heavy baggage on my first stay. With Wi-Fi, free parking, pets allowed, and a smoke-free environment, it's perfect for my city breaks. No regrets!

I especially appreciated how accessible the cottage was, making it easy for me to navigate around and enjoy my stay comfortably.

Only one small thing could have made my vacation even better. It would have been helpful if the children working there had provided washing machine liquid and dishwash tablets, as I had to go out and purchase them myself.
